Today, well, yesterday was a pretty good day. It started off like any other day.
I woke up and immediately……..I felt a sudden urge to eat a dinner for breakfast and a breakfast for dinner. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I sleep heavy. I wake up when I hear the smallest sound, I’m talking about when I wake up, I feel like I weigh about 300 pounds. It feels like I’mĀ almost buried in my bed. But anyway, I got up, got ready for the day, started watching some television.
I thought that the day was going to be boring when…..my cousin T.J. sent me a text that read, “MMMAAANNNNN, we gotta go to All American (local skating rank/teen club)! I heard that there’s going to be a party that lasts until 2 in the morning!” I was so happy I almost threw my phone, but I knew that if I did that I wouldn’t get another one until I could afford to pay the bill. I immediately got dressed. I wanted to look great for this party.
The only problrm was our parents. We needed a ride and permission to stay out until 2 a.m.. So T.J. asked his dad if he could take us. He didn’t bother asking his mom because all she does is criticize and lay on the couch and watch television all day long. His dad couldn’t do it because he was going to a basketball game with the best player in the nation, Austin Rivers, in it.
My mom agreed to both of the conditions though. I was so excited. I hadn’t been to the skating rink in ages. But before she could take us she said that she had to run a few errands. It was 3:46 at the time. When it came time for her to come back, which was 7:30 or so, she was nowhere to be found. I couldn’t even call her. I got so peeved off! I would have turned red, but I’m too dark for that so I just steamed (hot chocolate lol). I thought that all hope was lost then out of no where, T.J.’s mom said, “I’ll take you”. I was……was…..flabbergasted! She never gives us a ride, not even to school. She has a friend take T.J. to school and his little brother, Tylan, rides with my mom and I. It was a New Years Eve miracle!
John decided that wanted to go too. Tylan knew he couln’t go, because he’s only 10 and we do things that would make a young boy/girl’s mind implode! Plus he went there with us before, and got bored and started crying, when he was 9. That was really good for us though. We were kind of nervous, because our parents didn’t know what we did when we went to the skating rink. They thought that we went there to skate, but we really go there to meet girls and get twerk (like grinding, but faster, unless there is a slow song on). We were affraid that Tylan would tell them what we were really doing at the skating rink and they would stop us from going and that would have made me go into a deep depression. Since that day his dad hasn’t let him come back, because you have to pay $10 to get in and he wanted to leave early so it was a waste of money.
When we got into All American, we went to go sit down, because we knew that it was going to be a long night. We just watched girls dance and occasionally danced when a good sing came on. It was nice and enjoyable until…….WE ALL GOT THE SUPER MUNCHIES!!!!!!!!!!! We had been there for about 2 or 3 hours and the hunger started to set in. I had $10 on me and everyonme else was broke so I had to find a way to get everyone some food. It was difficult because John and T.J. both wanted something different. I had finally decided on fries for each of us. It was about 9:17.
We were just walking around when a random guy was running around taking to anyone he could find. He was telling them that $5,000 was going to drop from the ceiling in balloons exactly at 12:00 on New Years Day. All of this happened last year, but I was still as excited as I was the first time I heard about it last New Years Eve. We waited anxiously for 12:00 to come. It took ssssooooooo long! But when they put the balloons out at 11:58 people ran out and sttarted getting the money out, even though they were supposed to wait until 12:00. I only got a dollar because I didn’t want to get trampled over some money.
Everyone danced and twerked for the rest of the night.
It was a nice experience!
