Journey To Mojave Desert

Written on : 7/6/08 Today my dad and I planned to go to the Mojave Desert, but we had to wait until we got everything done in Inglewood.

First we went to church with the rest of  the family. I felt like my spirit had been touched by Jesus by the time we left. After that we packed up all of our clothes in preparation  for our road trip.

When that was done we said our goodbyes and drove off.

On the way I saw a “Wind Turbine”. It’s a giant spinning devise that gathers electricity by spinning. It’s almost like a solar  panel . Only it moves to get its energy. It’s said to be able to power a whole house. I also saw  a war plane on the way.

My dad said that they were able to go so fast  that they break the sound barrier when they take off which  is able to make houses shake like an Earthquake.  By then we had  already entered  Mojave Desert and we were just getting accustom to the weather.

In Mojave, it was as hot as the flaming pits off hell!  When we got into the house it felt great compared to the intense heat outside. There was air conditioning, great food, and something I haven’t seen in a long time…cable!   It was all so wonderful that I almost fainted.  So my dad and I ate outside. Then we took a walked in the dark. I got to bring my stick just in case a dog tried to bite us. I didn’t get to use it because the dogs stopped when they saw the stick.  After a while I got kind of scared but  I acted brave because my dad was shivering in his boots. When we finally got back, we kicked back and relaxed. All in all it was pretty cool.
